Mediation

JDQ provides third party neutral mediation services to state and federal governments on environmental and transportation issues.  Our mediation team conducts a conflict analysis to first determine how best to reach agreement.  Their knowledge on legal, public policy, science, socio-economic, and engineering design matters helps expedite the mediation process.

Unanimous agreement among all parties on an interstate highway         interchange design in Jackson, Michigan

Consensus agreement on an interstate alignment alternate in Dodge County, Nebraska that involved flooding and drainage issues involving the US Army Corp of Engineers

Consensus agreement on how to resolve contamination problems where hazardous substances are present at sites in Illinois and Ohio
