Project Description:

 

This project consisted of a 2-lane rural roadway in Bath and Montgomery Counties.  The project was a realignment of KY 11 from south Hinkston Creek to north of Sharpsburg.

 

The Consultant was responsible for:

 

PHASE II DESIGN:

 

1.         All necessary field surveys, including check sections, drainage and property corners.

2.         Preparation of grade, drain and surfacing plans.

3.         Preparation of right-of-way plans, including deeds for 65 parcels.

4.         Design of the bridge over Hinkston Creek.

5.         Computation of all quantities and estimation of all costs.

6.         Producing maintenance of traffic plans.

7.         Producing all general and special notes and provisions.

8.         Preparation of erosion control plans.

9.         Soil investigation (through Subconsultant).

 

 

The Department was responsible for:

 

1.         Traffic counts and traffic movements.
