ENGINEER Project Description: The project consists of a 5-lane urban and 4-lane rural
roadway in Shelby County. The project
is a new rote bypass for KY 55 around Shelbyville. The
Consultant was responsible for: 1. All necessary field surveys, including check sections, drainage and property
corners. 2. Preparation of grade, drain and surfacing
plans. 3. Preparation of right-of-way plans, including deeds for 40 parcels. 4. Design of the bridges over Clear Creek and CSX Railroad. 5. Computation of all quantities and estimation of all costs. 6. Producing maintenance of traffic plans. 7. Producing all general and special notes
and provisions. 8. Preparation
of erosion control plans. The
Department was responsible for: 1. Traffic counts and traffic movements. 2. Soil Investigation |
