Project Description: The project consisted of an addendum to the Department's Planning Report, Phase I Design, an Environmental Analysis and final Phase II Design of a portion of the project from approximately 200 feet East of Beech Fork to approximately 1,500 feet East of Pottsville including alternate alignments, cost estimates and drainage for a two-lane highway consisting of two 12 foot lanes with 12 foot paved shoulders.

The Consultant was responsible for:

 

1.         All corridor locations.

2.         All Environmental Studies.

3.         All studies, cost estimates and recommendations for preliminary alignment.

4.         Compiling a FONSI Environmental Document with a Final Section 4(F) Evaluation.

5.         Writing the Design Executive Summary.

6.         Contacting all property owners.

7.         All surveys.

8.         All office work to provide grade, drain and surfacing plans for construction of the project.

9.         Right-of-Way Plans and Right-of-Way Plans for Utilities and related services including deed

            preparation for the project.

10        Preparing drainage situation drawings

            and calculations and compiling drainage

            folders for the project.

11.       Designing drainage structures including

            one stream bridge.

12.       Geotechnical investigations.
