Description: This bridge is a replacement for an
older steel truss bridge that carries County Road 5147 over Bear Creek and is
scheduled for construction in mid 1996.
The old bridge is to be removed
and the new wider bridge built on the same alignment. The road
will be closed during construction.
The new structure is proposed
to be a single span with a length of 26 meters. The framing will consist
of a concrete deck on PC box beams.
The substructures are two end
bents on piling and are square with the roadway. All plans
are in metric. The
Consultant was responsible for: 1. All surveys and field work. 2. Preparation of Grade and Drain Plans for approaches. 3. Preparing drainage calculations. 4. Preparing Advance Situation Folder. 5. Cost
Estimate. 6. Final
