Project Description:

This bridge was a replacement for an old deteriorated and narrow concrete bridge.  It is made up of four spans of 50, 58', 58' and 50' for a total length of 223'.  The framing consists of seven rows of Type II Prestressed Concrete I-Beams acting compositely with a cast-in-place concrete deck.  All piers and abutments are founded on concrete friction piles.  Seismic forces controlled the design of the piers.  The design was completed in 1980 and construction was completed around 1985.  The estimated cost of the bridge is $480,000.
