Description: The bridge is a two lane structure with a sidewalk. The total deck width is 40'-9". The length is made up of three spans of 130', 180', and 130' for a
total length of 446'. The framing consists of six welded steel
plate girders with a 66 inch
constant depth web. The deck is cast-in-place concrete acting
compositely with the girders. The main river piers are 43 feet tall and
founded on rock. The abutments rest on point bearing piles. The design was completed in 1973 and
construction was completed in 1975.
Estimated construction is $750,000. The
Consultant
was responsible for: 1. All design and construction plans. 2. Specifications and cost estimates. The
Department was responsible for: 1. Surveys. 2. Advance
