older steel truss that carries County Road 5566 over Short Creek and is
scheduled for construction in mid 1996.
The old bridge is to be removed
and the new wider bridge built on a new alignment. The old
bridge can be used to maintain traffic while the new bridge is
built. The new structure is proposed to be a single span with a length of 27
meters. The framing will consist of side by side P.C. deck beams. The substructures
are two end bents on piling and are on a 30 degree skew. All plans
are in metric. The
Consultant was responsible for: 1. All surveys and field work. 4. Preparing Advance Situation Folder. 2. Preparation of Grade and Drain Plans 5. Cost
Estimate. for
approaches. 6 Final Bridge Plans. 3. Preparing drainage calculations. The
