Project Description:

 

This project involved preparation of Phase I Design studies and environmental studies for IL 13/IL 127, IL 149 at Murphysboro to Pinckneyville, including study of bypass routes at Vergennes and Pinckneyville.

 

The Consultant was responsible for Studies and Surveys including:

 

1.         Contacting all property owners.

 

2.         All surveys including centerline location, drainage and section corner locations.

 

3.         Design Location and Environmental Studies.

 

4.         Preliminary Right-of-Way plans as well as establishing existing property lines and ROW.

 

5.         Preparing drainage situation drawings and calculations and compiling drainage folders for the bridges and box culverts on the project.

 

6.         Preparing several alternate alignment studies for bypass routes at Vergennes and Pinckneyville.

 

The Department was responsible for providing:

 

1.         Aerial manuscripts and digitized cross sections.

 

2.         Title Commitments and available existing ROW plans.

 

3.         Traffic counts and traffic movements.

 

4.         Bridge Conditions Reports.
