ENGINEER Project
Description: This bridge was a six span, 560' long structure using prestressed concrete
I-beams for framing. The substructure consisted of abutments on piles and solid piers on
piles. The piers adjacent to Henderson Creek required cofferdams and seal coats. The design was completed in 1982 and construction was completed
in 1985. The
Consultant was responsible for: 1. All
necessary field surveys. 2. All structure design, including approach
roadways, T S & L Plan, Structure Report, Preliminary and Final Plans. The
Illinois Department of Transportation was responsible for: 1. All geotechnical data. |
