ENGINEER Project
Description: This project involved a grade separation with Emden Road
going over the new Illinois Hwy. 121.
The bridge consisted of a 3-span
plate girder and concrete deck superstructure. The substructure
consisted of vaulted abutments and open column piers supported on piling. The design was completed in August 1988
and construction was completed in 1991. The
Consultant was responsible for: 1. The
completed design and detailing for
this bridge. 2. The
preparation of Structure Report, T.S.
& L. Plans and Final Plans. 3. Checked all shop plans during
construction. The
Illinois Department of Transportation was responsible for: 1. All
geotechnical data. |
